6. Manali Nature Park

For the nature lovers, Manali apart from picturesque views of the valley and the mountains, present a wide variety of Flora and Fauna at the Manali Nature Park. Situated along the Beas river between Manali town and Old Manali, the dense cover of the trees lend a mystical feel to the place.

7. Vashisht Village

Looking again for serene and calm places? Head to Vashisht village, situated uphill from Manali town. Vashisht hot water springs are quite famous for its medicinal properties and so one dip in this water is a must. Vashisht village has a Reiki centre where you can not only learn about Reiki and other massage therapies but also about past life regression.

8. Jogini Waterfalls

Well, if you go behind the hills of Vashisht village, you will land up at Jogini Waterfalls. One can hike up to there or even go via road. Guesthouses and cafes are along the way. You can enjoy quiet time over there or can even take a dip and invigorate your senses.

9. Buddhist Temples and Monasteries

To the south of Manali town lies a small Tibetan colony home to many Buddhist temples. The Himalayan Nyinmapa Gompa houses a huge statue of Lord Buddha. Geluka Cultural Society Gompa has got a prayer room that is filled with many statues worth seeing. Gadhan Thekchhokling Gompa another Buddhist temple was constructed in 1960. It has a statue of Lord Buddha and displays a list of those Tibetan martyrs who laid their lives during Tibetan unrest in 1987 – 89.

10. Sultanpur Palace

For all the history buffs, there is Sultanpur Palace that is home to many historical monuments and artefacts. Built in a mix of both colonial and pahari architectural style, this palace was reconstructed after being destroyed by an earthquake.
